The LucanEngine S.r.L. was created by a team of engineers with a very long experiences in the field of reciprocating engines. In particular they are very expert in the field of the internal fluid-mechanics and in the fuel spray formation and atomization process due to long years of practice with the most sophisticated optical diagnostic techniques. This kind of experiences was acquired by important automotive industries like FIAT and FERRARI and some of main University laboratory (Imperial College London and Princeton University N.J.).

Actually the research and developing center is located in the city of Potenza in Basilicata southern of Italy in strong cooperation with the mechanical engineering team of the local University.
